WHAT IS ACOUSTIC FABRIC?
An acoustic fabric is designed to reduce the reverberation or echo in a room. The fabric construction, and the yarn used, allows for excellent sound absorption. Although not soundproof, Acoustic fabric will improve the quality of sound within a room by decreasing the reverberation of the echo.
WHERE DO OUR ACOUSTIC FABRICS BELONG?
Acoustic can be used in both residential and commercial projects. The list is endless but the below will give you a clear picture.
Somerset Curtains are conscious of our environment and the requirements needed to help reduce the Carbon Footprint.
We also have a variety of Recycled Fabrics that meet the Australian Fire Retardant Regulations, enabling these fabrics to be utilised in many environments where Safety procedures are in place.
Recycled Materials are made from Post-Consumer & Post-Industrial Recycled (PET) products such as bottles and packaging. Recycled Polyester lowers the demand for new petroleum-based products, thus reducing significantly the carbon footprint.
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) verifies at least 50% recycled polyester and tracks it from the source/recycler to the final product.
